WORKS IN PROGRESS

This evolving body of work is part of a durational, immersive installation that navigates the terrain of intergenerational trauma and collective healing. What you see here are fragments—objects in process—each holding the residue of touch, repetition, and memory. These sculptural components, made with latex, resin, bandage plaster, and foam, carry psychic weight. They hold within them a sense of rupture and repair, echoing the maternal body and the quiet labour of healing. Some are soft, others hardened, tenderness fossilised, and grief suspended. These pieces will ultimately converge in a ritual-like installation shaped by ancestral presence and sensorial immersion. At its heart, a soundscape composed of field recordings—rainfall, wild weather, oceanic murmurs—interlaced with the voices of the women in my family. Their whispers, laughter, and breath offer a haunting care, an auditory inheritance that enfolds the space like a second skin. This page serves as a living archive of the process—a slow build, a quiet gathering—toward something whole, porous, and alive.
